The Knapweed cross stitch is a conversion of a photograph I took many years ago. It took quite a bit of work to use my computer software to generate a stitchable picture. There were lots of isolated stitches in the original conversion, and although the photograph had a good composition a fair bit of adjustment of the stitched image was necessary to achieve a pleasing result. It is worked on 32 count Jobelan, with cross stitches over two threads. The grasses in the background are stitched with long straight stitches and detached chain stitch.
