Back Stitch This stitch can be used for outlining shapes or for stitching seams. Try to make your stitches even in size. On even weave fabrics you can count threads in order to do this.
Step 1 Start by coming up at 1, down at 2.
Step 2 Come up at 3, then down at 1.
Step 3 Continue by coming up at 4 and down at 3, then carry on in the same way.
