This textured sample uses Fly Stitch to attach scraps of fabric, scrim and silk chiffon to a backing fabric, completely covering it.
The scraps are applied close together so they cannot "flop flat" onto the backing fabic.
It produces a very textural surface that could be used in embroideries depicting flowers and vegetation.
