This box is once again constructed on a base of craft vilene. The pink felt was then decorated using machine embroidery and adjusting the tension setting of the sewing machine (the method is explained in our kit Tension Techniques or in the Instructions Only booklet on the technique).
Once the fabric was stitched it was applied to the craft vilene and painted with expanding medium which was then expanded and painted gold. Further stitching and beading was added before the box was made up. It was then necessary to add a little more expanding medium and paint in order to touch up the box.
